Man United Game Won’t Decide Premier League Title – Klopp

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is certain that his side’s huge Premier League clash with Manchester United won’t decide the destination of the league title.

Manchester United host Klopp and his players at Old Trafford in their second league meeting of this season looking to avenge the defeat suffered in the first meeting.

Klopp believes that there’s still a long way to go in the title race after the game against Manchester United on Sunday evening during his pre-match thoughts.

He masterminded the earlier win recorded this season as Xerdan Shaqiri came off the substitutes’ bench to score a brace and lead the Reds to a 3-1 win at Anfield.

The game played in December was the last match managed by Jose Mourinho before he was unceremoniously sacked by Manchester United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was named as his replacement and Manchester United have been on the front foot ever since.

Since that defeat at Anfield, Manchester United are unbeaten winning eight out of the last nine games.

They face their biggest test yet in the league under Solskjaer when they welcome title contenders Liverpool to the Theatre of Dreams.

Liverpool are joint top at the top of the Premier League table alongside defending champions Manchester City who have a better goal difference.
