Chelsea Target Snubs Tottenham Move

Controversial Paris Saint Germain (PSG) midfielder Adrien Rabiot has snubbed a potential transfer to Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

The ESPN claim that the French international star won’t join North London club Tottenham Hotspur despite their strong interest in him as he feels that Spurs are below his level.

The latest development is a big boost for Chelsea who is also in the running to sign the young French player.

The 23-year-old has been attracting the interest of Premier clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea as well as Spanish champions Barcelona.

Several bookmakers have installed Barcelona as the overwhelming favourites to sign the ex-Manchester City Academy player.

Adrien Rabiot has scored 27 goals in 224 appearances for PSG since he broke into the team.

He has six months left on his PSG contract meaning that he has two options at his disposal.

Rabiot can secure a move away from the club for a sizeable transfer fee or wait till his contract with the club expires before terminating.

PSG offered him several contract offers but the player repeatedly turned them down and has already told the club that he doesn’t want to sign a new contract as confirmed by the French giants’ sporting director Antero Henrique.
