Two former Chelsea players have been named on the Team of the Week for the latest set of games in the Premier League as compiled by BBC Sport.

Nathan Ake and Kevin De Bruyne were named on the list by footballer turned pundit Garth Crooks who works with BBC Sport these days.

Nathan Ake plays his club football for South Coast club Bournemouth at the moment, while Kevin De Bruyne has champions Manchester City’s quest to win the quadruple since he returned from injury at the start of this month.

Dutch international Ake joined the Cherries permanently at the start of last season having initially joined them on loan in the summer of 2016.

Kevin De Bruyne was at Chelsea until the summer of 2014 when he left for German Bundesliga side VFL Wolfsburg.

The Belgian international returned to England in a then club-record deal to Premier League champions Manchester City.

Nathan Ake was in sensational form as his Bournemouth side thrashed struggling Brighton 5-0 away from home at the weekend while Kevin De Bruyne provided two assists in the 3-1 away win over London club Crystal Palace.

Others on the list include Alisson Becker, Virgil Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane (Liverpool), Paul Pogba (Manchester United), Lucas Moura (Tottenham Hotspur), Nathan Redmond (Southampton) and the Manchester City duo of Vincent Kompany and Raheem Sterling.
