Zinedine Zidane knew all along that Real Madrid will not sign Chelsea striker
European champions, Real Madrid have been previously linked with a move to sign Chelsea and Belgium Striker, Eden Hazard.
But the Los Blancos have dropped the deal after Chelsea refused to lower their asking price which they fixed above £200 million.
According to report, Real Madrid had wanted to sign Eden Hazard as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo who left for Seria A club, Juventus.
However, ex Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane in a latest statement has disclosed that he knew Eden Hazard chances of moving to Bernabeu was slim.
The France international disclosed he had put a telephone call through to Eden Hazard on the Issue.
Zidane disclosed that for Eden Hazard to convince Real Madrid’s President, Perez Florentino, the Belgium striker will have to win a Ballon D’or as Perez doesn’t see him as a world class player that can take over from the space created by Ronaldo departure.
Eden Hazard has shown an interest on wanting to leave Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid, where he is expecting to win more trophies.
With the look of this, Eden Hazard will have to remain at Chelsea for another season.
