Arsenal Transfer News: Gunners Adamant On £22.3m Deal For Star

Arsenal star player Shkodran Mustafi has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium in recent times after he emerged as a target for Turkish side Galatasaray.

The latest being said about him is that Galatasaray have embarked on some steps to lure him out of London this summer.

The Fanatik newspaper are reporting that the Turkish heavyweights have submitted an offer to Arsenal for the player, but their plan is to sign him on loan.

It was also added that Unai Emery’s side rejected the loan offer and insist they won’t consider offers below £22.3M for the German international.

Arsenal are only interested in selling Mustafi on a permanent deal this summer, the report stated.

On their own part, Galatasaray are working hard to sign a new defender before the close of the ongoing summer transfer window. However, it was made known that they are not ready to splash £22.3m on Mustafi due to pressure from Financial Fair Play to curb spending.

They won the Super Lig title last term and will compete in the Champions League group stage next season.

Although Mustafi has 3 more years on his current deal at Arsenal, the North Londoners won’t mind to let him leave this summer.
