‘I Want To Join Chelsea’ – 24-year-old Midfielder
Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez has reportedly accepted to join Premier League giants Chelsea ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled for the start of next month.
El Gol Digital claim that the Spanish international midfielder has received a juicy offer from Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri and is ready to swap Spain for England in the New Year.
Chelsea boss Sarri came close to signing him on two occasions while he was the manager of Italian Serie A giants Napoli.
Denis Suarez has found himself on the fringes of the Barcelona team under manager Ernesto Valverde.
The Spaniard has made just five appearances for the Blaugrana in all competitions this season.
In his recent interview, Denis Suarez revealed that he wants to play more football and that he will assess his options in the coming weeks.
Denis Suarez, 24, was speaking after he bagged a brace in the Spanish Copa Del Rey win over Cultural Leonesa last week.
He could be a replacement for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas who’s the subject of transfer rumours involving seven-time European champions AC Milan.
Fabregas has played second fiddle to summer signing Jorginho at the base of the Chelsea midfield and he could leave for AC Milan in 2019.
