Reports claim that West Ham is ready to make a shock move for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas. Since the arrival of Conte in the summer the Spanish International has started just one game in the premier league and has found it hard to play a major part in the team leading to suggestions that the midfielder would be ready to leave the club in the January transfer window. Reports have linked him to Italian giants AC Milan but now it seems West Ham are prepared to make a move for him.
The Mirror reports that to ensure that Fabregas is moved out in January, Chelsea is ready is ready to subsidize his 160,000 thousand pounds a week wages. This has now ignited a lot of interest among clubs in Europe including West Ham who are also facing a battle to keep top European clubs from their star player Dimitri Payet.
Conte is prepared to make changes at Stamford Bridge and is determined to make his squad stronger during the January transfer window as he continues transforming the club. Though he has not had much playing time so far this season, Fabregas is still determined to remain at Chelsea and fight for a starting shirt.
It is claimed that Conte will be backed by the Chelsea board and will also be looking for another midfielder after reports claim John Mikel Obi is not also part of Conte’s plans. The Nigerian will be out of contract at the end of the season and Chelsea will not be offering him a new deal.
