See How United Management reacted to Mourinho’s frustration over summer transfers

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is not pleased with the club’s transfer business as far as this summer is concerned.

The Old Trafford have been able to sign just three players so far – Fred (from Shakhtar Donetsk), Diogo Dalot (from FC Porto) and Lee Grant (from Stoke City)

Dalot is just a youngster without much experience while Grant was only signed to be the club’s No. 3 goalkeeper. This means Fred has been the only quality player the red devils have signed so far this summer.

Manchester United lost woefully to Liverpool in their recent preseason game, prompting Mourinho to complain of how he wants the management to bring in more players before the closure of the window.

Speaking to newsmen after the 4-1 defeat, the manager said he would love to sign two more players, but won’t mind if the management can get at least one.

The former Chelsea boss also emphasised that the red devils could be ‘in trouble’ due to the state of the squad’ – even though he promised to fight hard with the players he currently has at the Theater of Dreams.

Right now, The Guardian are reporting that Manchester United board have reacted to the tactician’s frustrations, and surprisingly, the management chose to understand his plight and he retains their full backing.

It was added that they promised to sign another player before the closure of the transfer window.
