Chelsea agree five-year deal for Aleksandr Golovin.

CSKA Moscow star player Aleksandr Golovin has been heavily linked with a move away from the Russian side this summer after emerging as a target for premier league heavyweights Chelsea.

The talented player has been in the news consistently in recent times due to his links with the Stamford Bridge club, and the latest being said about him is that CSKA Moscow have agreed to terms with Chelsea for his signature.

Popular news outlet Calcio Mercato made it known that the player has agreed to a five-year deal and could travel to the UK today to finalise his medicals with the premier league club.

Golovin has been linked with various top European sides following his impressive World Cup outing for Russia. The likes of Manchester United, Juventus, Arsenal and AS Monaco have been chasing after his signature before now, but it appears he is destined to play at Stamford Bridge next season.

Chelsea have stepped up their interest after confirming Maurizio Sarri as their new boss following the exit of now-former manager Antonio Conte.

The former Napoli boss is said to be a big fan of the Russian, and he even tried securing his services during his time at the Serie A club.
