Antonio Conte told to learn from rival coach

Danny Murphy has suggested that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte should adopt Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s approach to player management.

Conte face severe uncertainty

The Chelsea manager is facing severe uncertainty at Chelsea following a disappointing English Premier League season.

Italian tactician Antonio Conte led Chelsea to the English Premier League title in his debut campaign in charge of the club.

Chelsea lost 2-1 to London rivals Arsenal in the Emirates FA Cup final to miss out on winning a double.

Conte’s boy’s have extremely struggled to defend their English topflight crown this term following Manchester City’s exceptional season.

The Blues are two points adrift fourth-placed Liverpool in the Champions League qualification race next term.

Impressive season so far

The Reds, on the other hand, have made good progress this term, including their excellent run to the UEFA Champions League final.

Former Liverpool man Murphy believes the former Italy boss should adopt Jurgen Klopp’s approach to managing his players.

Murphy told the Evening Standard Jurgen Klopp is a type of manager players want to work for.

He hinted Antonio Conte, by contrast, looks like someone who expects respect from members of his playing staff.

The Merseysider’s will take on Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final later this month in Kiev.
