La Liga giant eyeing £52 Chelsea raid after star player’s advice

REAL MADRID president Florentino Perez is eyeing a swoop for Chelsea left wing-back Alonso after he was advised by Sergio Ramos to go for the Spaniard according to Spanish outlet Don Balon.

The Los Blancos captain Sergio Ramos who is presently in camp with the Chelsea defender has reportedly told Perez that the team can’t afford to lose the player this summer as he is tipped to be moving out of Stamford Bridge by the end of the season.

Ramos is a longtime admirer of his compatriot and he believes he is one of the players who will improve Madrid’s defending abilities in the 2018-19 season.

Marcos Alonso joined the Blues last season and his strength to join the attack despite being a defender was influential in Chelsea’s Premier League triumph last season.

He has been one of the Blues best performers this term despite their unimpressive form throughout the campaign.

Don Balon also revealed that Florentino Perez is willing to spend big on Alonso signature next season, he has reportedly set aside a whopping £52m (€60m) which he would table to Chelsea for the 27-year-old defender when the next transfer market begins.

Though the Blues have been linked with a move for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, it is yet to be seen if the West London will want to part way with the Real Madrid’s Academy product.
