Mourinho Unhappy With These Players After Poor Performance Against Newcastle

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is not too happy with Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial after losing 1-0 to Newcastle United on Sunday.

The red devils must now begin to watch their backs after dropping points against Rafa Benitez’s side, as the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are trying hard to finish among the top four.

Jose Mourinho’s side had chances to win the game, but Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka was able to stop them from scoring.

Manchester United players also had important opportunities to score – especially Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial, but the chances were lost.

Alexis managed to round Martin but surprisingly chose not to play the ball inside the unguarded net, and Anthony also lost three excellent chances to score.

Speaking after the unfortunate defeat, Jose Mourinho was not happy that his men couldn’t score in the game.

The Portuguese boss made reference to Alexis Sanchez’s open goal miss, as well as Martial’s countless opportunities to score.

After the defeat, his side are now 2 points ahead of third-placed Liverpool and 4 points ahead of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

A little more mistake could push Jose Mourinho’s side out of the second position on the premier league table.
