Pundit To Mourinho: This Is The Best Way To Bring Out The Best In This Player

Jose Mourinho has been accused of not utilising Paul Pogba in the right manners that can bring out the best in him.

Joleon Lescott insists the Portuguese tactician is not using the Frenchman adequately and he believes Pogba would become a much better player if used better.

The France international re-joined Manchester United from Juventus back in the summer of 2016, and he has gone on to play 73 games for the red devils.

In the midst of constant criticism and burdens, Pogba was able to win the Europa League for the club last term and has evolved into a very important member at Old Trafford.

However, Joleon believes the player’s role in Mourinho’s team needs to change if Paul is to continue being successful.

Lescott said playing Pogba in one position will allow hi to enhance the side’s performances and it will also benefit the player.

Joleon also wants Mourinho to play Pogba deeper, as he believes the France international is a player who doesn’t enjoy playing defensively.

Pogba was replaced by Scott McTominay in Mourinho’s starting XI against Huddersfield Town last Saturday after his unimpressive performance against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.

The former Juventus midfielder is set for their next premier league game against Newcastle United on February 11.
