Manchester United are on the verge of completing a massive £70million transfer for Real Madrid striker, Alvaro Morata by tomorrow, according to the Sun.
The 24-year-old has been a subject of interest from a number of clubs in Europe, with the likes of Chelsea, AC Milan and Manchester United all linked with serious interest in the forward.
Reports in Cadena SER have it that United have moved ahead of other clubs and will announce a £70milllion deal by Wednesday.
Prior reports claim that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho personally called Morata to convince him about making him an important member of his squad next season.
There were reports that AC Milan had agreed on personal terms with Morata but the player dismissed such reports, claiming he is happy at Santiago Bernabeu.
But it is believed that Morata is keen on getting better opportunities next season in order to stake a claim in the Spanish national team ahead of the 2018 Russia World Cup.
The forward’s agent, Juanma Lopez also fuelled the transfer speculation, when he told Calciomercato on last Monday: ‘It’s a club with a lot charm, a very interesting option,
‘I can say there is a very good offer and the decision now rests with Real.’
