Liverpool Receive Boosts To Beat Man United At Anfield

The past weekend was dedicated to several World Cup qualifying games all over the world, and patriots were out cheering their various national sides before the players will move back to their different clubs this week.

In England, one of the top games to be played in the premier league this weekend is the clash between Liverpool and Manchester United, but it appears an incident that occurred during the international break will have an effect in the game at Anfield on Saturday.

Belgium clashed with Bosnia and Herzegovina last Saturday, and Manchester United star player Marouane Fellaini was forced off the pitch in the 29th minute of the game after getting a knock on his knee.

And right now, the Belgian FA have announced that the 29-year-old will be out of action for at least two weeks, which means he will be missing the game against Jurgen Klopp’s side at Anfield.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is obviously not the happiest manager right now following the update from the Belgium’s official Twitter account on Sunday morning.

Frenchman Paul Pogba is currently sitting out with a hamstring injury which has been described by the Portuguese manager as ‘long-term’, and Fellaini has been doing fine in the absence of Pogba. He scored a brace during United’s last premier league win against Crystal Palace, and his injury will represent good news to Liverpool on Saturday.
