According to British media reports, the Red Devils have been handed the golden chance to complete the signing of Marco Verratti by Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in a reported cash-plus-player transfer deal for midfield maestro Paul Pogba.
The Sun is claiming that PSG are keen on signing Paul Pogba this summer transfer window and are set to offer United the opportunity to land the 25-year-old.
However, the same report says that it is not very clear whether the Red Devils do indeed want to offload the Frenchman this summer window or not.
Ligue 1 side wants swap deal
The story also suggests that the Ligue 1 champions would also seek the possibility of a cash-only transfer deal for the Italy international this summer window, with the Italian star having been tipped as a transfer target for United lately.
The same report indicates that the French giants were believed to be close to keeping Verratti at the club, but conflicting updates say that the midfielder could be on his way out of the club this summer window.
