Arsenal star suffers injury scare on international duty

Chile international Alexis Sanchez has given Premier League giant Arsenal an injury scare on international duty.

Sanchez, who is currently with Chile National football team may now miss tomorrow’s match against Bolivia.

The Arsenal star is said to have left the team’s training base with an ice pack wrapped around his left ankle and will be examined by the medical team.

He has played just once for Arsene Wenger’s team this season after being given an extended break following his appearance at the FIFA Confederations Cup.

And the attacking midfielder tried to complete a deadline day transfer to Premier League club Manchester City after reportedly agreeing on personal terms on the move worth around £300,000 weekly.

The 28-year-old is believed to be upset at being prevented from completing his dream transfer to Manchester City this summer transfer window.

And the Gunners may have to cope with another issue if his new injury keeps him on the sidelined for the coming weeks.
Chile medical team are believed to be hopeful he can play a part in tomorrow, Tuesday’s FIFA World Cup qualifier, although the Gunners will be worried if he’s played when he’s not fully fit.

The Chilean posted a series of bizarre messages on social media site – Instagram last night, seemingly targeted towards his failed move.
