Jose Mourinho Confirms Talks To Sign AC Milan Target

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed they are in talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic over an Old Trafford return.

The Swedish was a key figure for the Red Devils last season after joining them on a free transfer, and went on to become one of the best performer for the Red Devils but his impressive run was cut short by a nasty ACL cruciate ligament injury during their quaterfinal fixture against Anderlecht in the Europa League.

Ibrahimovic is recovering from the nasty injury and has been tipped to make a stunning return to football despite being 35 years of age but there are reports that Italian giants, AC Milan have began process to lure their former star back to San Siro this summer.

His agent Mino Raiola is understood to have started to hold talks with interested parties, putting Zlatan’s chances of returning to Manchester United in jeopardy.

However, Jose Mourinho has come out to reveal that they are in talks to sign Ibra once he fully recovers from the injury, claiming ‘it’s not something urgent’ despite speculations that the lanky striker could fancy a move to Milan.

It is believed that the Red Devils are hoping to bring in Zlatan Ibrahimovic to compete with Romelu Lukaku for the central striking spot next season.
