French Ligue 1 giant Monaco are seriously considering a summer transfer move for Chelsea central defender David Luiz.

Central defender’s future undecided

According to Goal, the Brazil international defender’s future at the West London club will depend on the future of current manager Antonio Conte over the summer transfer window.

The Italian and the Brazilian allegedly fell out earlier this current campaign, which has seen the ex PSG centre-half struggle to cement a spot in the Blues team.

Conte expected to leave Chelsea

Antonio Conte is expected to depart the West London club at the conclusion of the campaign, despite having a year left on his current deal at the club.

The Ex- Juventus and Italy National football team manager has expressed his annoyance at the Bridge throughout the season after being unable to land his favoured transfer targets.

Former Director expected to make deal happen

Former Chelsea Director of Football Michael Emenalo joined French side Monaco from the West London club earlier this campaign and the report claims that the former could help fast-track a deal.

With UEFA Champions League qualification pretty unclear this term there could be a couple of high-profile departures at the Bridge this summer transfer window.
