According to Football London, Serie A giants Inter Milan are ready to demand about £62 million for Arsenal defensive transfer target Milan Skriniar in the Summer transfer window.
Arsenal face tough competition for star
If the transfer fee isn’t enough, the Gunners will have stiff competition for the player’s signature. Spanish outfit FC Barcelona and Premier League runaway leaders Manchester City are also believed to be interested in the exciting Slovakian.
Skriniar only joined the Italian side in the summer transfer window, linking up with fellow Serie A club Sampdoria.
The 23-year-old has played 25 matches in all competitions for his club, helping them climb to the third position on the log as they attempt to return to continental football.
Rejected offer
It has also been disclosed that the North London outfit had a £12million transfer deadline day offer for defender Jonny Evans turned down by West Bromwich Albion.
West Brom boss Alan Pardew disclosed in his presser that the Northern Irish man was never for sale at any price on transfer deadline day.
He said he had sat here every week saying don’t table an offer on deadline day because you’re not going to have what you want.
He admitted that unless it’s an offer that’s going to knock the club off the chair, and it was no way near their demands.
