“Conte Should Not Sign This Striker, This Is Who He Should Sign”

Recently, Chelsea have been strongly linked with both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alvaro Morata as a replacement for departing Diego Costa this summer.

And while it is quite glaring that both strikers are good, Chelsea legend Marcel Desailly is of the opinion that the Gabon international would be the perfect signing for the blues and a better fit than the Spain international.

Aubameyang has emerged as Chelsea’s top target in very recent times and there are indications that an agreement over a deal was close.

The former African Best player has also been strongly linked with Serie A side AC Milan and he recently ‘liked’ a tweet on twitter telling him to join the Italian club.

Antonio Conte is yet to have a main man upfront ahead of next season after telling Diego Costa at the end of last season that he is not part of his plans at Stamford Bridge any longer. He was strongly linked with bringing back Romelu Lukaku to west London from Everton, but the Belgian opted for Old Trafford at last, making his club looking at Morata as an option.

But Chelsea hero Desailly is not convinced by Alvaro and has urged his former club to either bring in the African striker or make amends and strive keeping Diego Costa at the club.
