According to reports, Man United are ready to sell Mauroune Fellaini when January comes, and the player’s most likely destination is Turkey.
Marouane’s career at Old Trafford was filled with ups and downs, but with his contract getting expired at the end of this term, it appears his time at Man United is coming to an end.
The Mirror made it known that the red devils have agreed on an £8m deal with Turkish side Besiktas to send Fellaini over to Turkey, and he’s likely to be the first player to leave Old Trafford in January.
Jose Mourinho has been informed by the Manchester United board that he needs to sell before he can buy, and if he should sell some of the players in January, he will have more funds to bring in more players when the summer transfer window opens next year.
However, it is surprising Marouane is exiting Old Trafford, considering that he has been a first-team regular at the club this season. Before picking an injury, he played eight times for the club in all competitions and scored four goals.
We all thought his impressive performances will see him extend his stay at Old Trafford, but the manager is showing how ruthless he is by trying to set a higher standard than the players he met at the club when he arrived last year.
