“He Is Not Leaving Stamford Bridge, He Is Fighting For His Place”

Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda had been linked with a move away from the club in recent times and he is said to be set to make a move to Celtic Park.

However, despite that his future remains uncertain, in a new development, his brother Lamisha Musonda has denied reports linking the 20-year-old to the Scottish giants.

Musonda has spent five years as a Chelsea player but is yet to make an appearance for the first-team. Last season, he was on loan at Real Betis and really performed above average in Spain.

Apart from Musonda, there are still many youngsters at Chelsea who haven’t been given a chance in the first-team. And in the young Belgian’s case, he mainly plays in the wings, and to be realistic, he is very unlikely to get a first-team spot anytime soon – considering the presence of the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian, and Pedro Rodriguez.

And while we expect him to work harder to impress very much wherever he would be sent on loan and hope the club will want him to stay on a permanent basis, his brother has indicated that the youngster wants to stay at Chelsea to fight for a place.
