Liverpool To Launch Another Bid For Superb Star

Monaco star player Kylian Mbappe had a superb campaign last season at the French club but is expected to leave this summer.

The 18-year-old is wanted by a host of European clubs in this summer transfer window following his breakthrough season where he scored 26 goals in all competitions to help Monaco win the Ligue I title and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.

It is understood that the French starlet’s preferred destination is Real Madrid, but Premier League clubs, Liverpool and Arsenal are still in the chase.

Even though Arsene Wenger is said to have approached the player personally, Liverpool reportedly believes they could beat the Gunners to Mbappe’s signature this summer.

Since Arsenal won’t be playing in the Champions League next term, Liverpool feels this could influence Mbappe’s decision and put them ahead of Arsene Wenger’s side.

The Daily Telegraph says Liverpool have already seen two bids rejected for the France international but are still set to spend big to bring him to England if he decides not to move to Real Madrid straight away.

If Mbappe should make a move to join Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu, the youngster is liable to struggle for regular playing time due to the presence of other experienced strikers like Benzema.
