Arsenal Forward Open To Summer Exit After Success Talks With Prem Rivals

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is open to the idea of joining Manchester City after holding successful talks with the club in London.

The 28-year-old has been heavily linked to leave the Emirates this summer after failing to renew his contract with the club despite having just one year left.

Sanchez was on show as the Gunners defeated Chelsea to lift the FA Cup final last Saturday amid reports that Bayern Munich has pulled out of the race to sign the Chilean attacker due to his high wage demands.

Reports in Goal.com suggests that Manchester City has moved ahead of other interested parties to seal a stunning deal for the striker.

It is understood that Sanchez’s representatives have held talks with Manchester City over a potential deal and are now confident of signing the Chilean who also looks forward to reuniting with Pep Guardiola who coached him at Barcelona.

Although, Arsenal are very reluctant to allow Sanchez join any of their rivals this summer and will prefer he moves abroad, with reports that the Gunners are ready to offer him a new deal that will see him remain at the Emirates.

Manchester City has been very active in the transfer market and have completed a deal for Bernardo Silva as Guardiola hopes to bolster his current squad.
