Malcom confirms he’s set to complete summer move

Arsenal target Malcom has disclosed he will be permitted to move away from Bordeaux next summer after failing to get a winter exit.

Arsenal need Malcom

The Brazilian has impressed in the French Ligue 1 and was allegedly a transfer target for Arsenal as they go in search for new attackers this January.

The Guardian suggested the Gunners were in for the youngster at about £45million all through the whole Alexis Sanchez saga, though the transfer deal never happened as the Emirates giants ended up swooping for Armenian Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang instead.

Exciting youngster

Still, the starlet looks an exciting prospect and one who could fit in properly at the North London club as manager Arsene Wenger still lacks quality and depth in attack.

England star Theo Walcott and France international Olivier Giroud also left last month, while players like French striker Alexandre Lacazette and Nigerian Alex Iwobi have been inconsistent this season.

Open to move away

Malcom has caught many eyes with eight goals in total and six assists in France this season, and the 20-year-old forward has handed the Gunners major hope of securing his signature in the summer.

Speaking about his future recently with UOL, the highly-rated attacker said that his current team Bordeaux have promised they’ll offload him and that he will make a decision on his next destination.
