4-3-3 Formation: Star Player Return To Liverpool’s Strongest Possible Line vs Maribor

Liverpool are sitting on top of their group in the Champions League following the 7-0 win over Maribor some weeks back, with five points.

The Anfield club are now set to clash with the Slovenian side for the second leg tie, and considering their current form, we can consider them favourites to win the game.

And as far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, Jurgen Klopp is likely to make a handful of changes in the starting eleven that played against Huddersfield last weekend in the premier league.

The German manager is likely to start summer signing Andy Robertson in the left back position, while Moreno should sit on the bench.

Since Maribor are considered the weakest side in the group, we expect Matip be rested while Joe Gomez should take charge of the defense with Klavan.

Additionally, we expect the likes of Emre Can, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Wijnaldum to take care of the midfield, while the club’s skipper should sit on the bench.

And as far as the attack is concerned, since Phil Countiho and Sadio Mane won’t be available for the game, we expect Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino to partner with lone striker Daniel Sturridge upfront.

Here is Liverpool’s strongest possible 4-3-3 lineup vs Maribor on Wednesday night.

GK – Karius
LB – Robertson
CB – Klavan
CB – Gomez
RB – Trent
CM – Can
CM – Wijnaldum
CM – Oxlade-Chamberlain
LW – Firmino
RW – Salah
CF – Sturridge
