Weird Feeling: Chiellini Disagrees With Conte Over Inter Move

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has admitted that he would be disappointed if former manager Antonio Conte joins Italian Serie A rivals Inter Milan this summer.

Former Chelsea manager Conte worked with Chiellini while he was the Juventus manager until 2014 when he left to take the Italian national team job.

He continued to work with Chiellini on the international scene before being named the Chelsea manager in 2016.

Giorgio Chiellini spoke about Antonio Conte and Inter Milan in a chat with popular Italian news portal Tuttosport.

According to him, it would be a weird feeling to see Antonio Conte at Inter Milan.

Conte is expected to be named as the replacement for the outgoing Luciano Spalletti at Inter Milan.

Recent reports claimed that the Nerazzurri have offered him a lucrative salary worth around €10m per annum and that he will put pen to paper on a three-year deal this summer until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Antonio Conte is poised to return to the dugout after a year.

The Italian tactician has not managed a team since his sack from Chelsea last year shortly after winning the FA Cup title at the expense of Manchester United.

He won the league title in the previous season which happened to be his debut campaign as the Chelsea manager.
