Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are struggling to meet up with the financial demands from Premier League heavyweights Chelsea for star player Eden Hazard.
Real Madrid have made Eden Hazard their number one transfer target this summer as they attempt to rebuild their squad after a poor season.
According to the Daily Mirror, Real Madrid are nowhere near the asking price demanded by Chelsea for Belgian international star Hazard.
Chelsea won’t sanction a sale for Eden Hazard if they don’t receive their £112m valuation while Real Madrid are said to have made an £86m bid for him.
The transfer for Eden Hazard is expected to a be a club-record deal for Real Madrid as it will surpass the current record which is the transfer that took Welsh international player Gareth Bale from North London giants Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.
Real Madrid were said to have paid around £85.3m for Bale six years ago.
The aforementioned Hazard has one year left on his Chelsea contract and the Blues are almost handicapped in their bid to keep him at the club beyond this summer.
Real Madrid are likely to get their man but they have to dance to the tune of Chelsea to achieve that feat.
