United set to approach La Liga giants for De Gea’s replacement

With Manchester United are yet to convince Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea into signing a new deal with the club, they are reported to be preparing a bid for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak as a replacement.

De Dea’s contract with the Red Devils expires at the end of the season which makes him free to hold talks and agree to a deal with other clubs abroad in the New Year but that has been stopped with the Old Trafford side activating a clause in his contract which will have him remain at the club for another year.

Latest report says United will make all efforts to convince De Gea within the 12 months window but should they fail, the will turn to the Spanish side for Jan Oblak.

Jan Oblak is no doubt one of the best hands in Europe with his impressive performances and saves since joining Atletico and Manchester United are seeking to bring him to the Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, De Gea could be on his way to the Italian giants Juventus having been reported that they have made their interests known but they could face competition from French side Paris Saint Germain who are also interested in the Spaniard’ signature.
