Manchester United star player Phil Jones is reportedly ready to meet with the club’s board in a bid to sort out the uncertainty concerning his future so that the best decision can be made for him at the right time.

Metro.co.uk reports that the player will be out of contract with the Red Devils at the end of the season with negotiations over a new deal yet to begin.

The usual style of activating a clause in players’ contract to extend their stay for another 12 months has also not been done which makes Phil Jones confused about what his future holds at the club.

He is seeking to know if he will be staying or leaving at the end of the season.

Reports hints that despite being a good fan of the 26-year-old, manager Jose Mourinho is not sure on what to do about the player’s new deal as a result of the consistent injuries he has had within the last two seasons.

Therefore it is reported that talks will be held with the player’s representative to sort out his future and also know the next step to take ahead of the winter transfer window with bids already lined up for Phil Jones.
