According to several British media sources, Sadio Mane is ready to be handed a fresh and improved deal at Liverpool following his impressive form for the Merseyside club.
Bumper contract offer
As per Daily Mirror, the Senegal international forward is poised to sign a new “bumper” deal following his brilliant performances for Liverpool.
Sadio Mane’s current deal is due to run out in 2021, but Liverpool appears interested in keeping the 25-year-old attacker down to a new contract at the Merseyside outfit.
The same article says that he currently earns £80,000-weekly at the club and he can expect to earn double if he does sign a fresh deal with Liverpool.
However, the report also says that there is hurry on either camp to get a new contract signed, as he still has enough time remaining on his current deal.
Splendid form
The African has been in good form for the Reds so far this term and he netted a hat-trick in Liverpool’s 5-0 UEFA Champions League victory over Portuguese side Porto last week.
The Senegalese international has scored 12 goals in all competitions this term and has created six assists for his colleagues.
