Ross Barkley is better than Jesse Lingard and Dele Alli – Liverpool legend

Following the Blues performance at Turf Moor last Sunday in the EPL match against Burnley, former Liverpool star turn sports pundit, Jamie Carragher has applauded England international and Chelsea’s midfielder, Ross Barkley.

The Blues put up a top performance in the match against Burnley and Ross Barkley was part of the key players that stood out, in fact, some news media rated him as high as 9.8/10 in the game.

Ross Barkley scored a goal and created two assists against Burnley.

However, Jamie Carragher in a recent statement has applauded Ross Barkley and rated him above Man Utd star, Jesse Lingard and Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli in terms of ability.

He hinted that Ross Barkley can get better at the midfield if he trains more.

According to Carragher, what the English midfielder needs now is to “become mentally strong.”

He hinted that Dele Alli and Jesse Lingard ‘are better mentally but they are not better ability wise.’

The pundit disclosed that once Ross Barkley becomes better mentally ‘he could become a must for the England team.’

Coach Maurizio Sarri in a recent statement has also disclosed that Ross Barkley has improved defensively, physically and technically and he is now a complete player.
