Germany club, Hoffenheim’s midfielder Kerem Demirbay in a new statement has hinted that he is been scouted by Liverpool.

The 25 years old midfielder has played for Hoffenheim in seven games this season following an injury he sustained at the commencement of the Bundesliga season.

Kerem Demirbay can play as an attacking midfielder, defending midfielder and central midfielder.

According to a report from Germany, Liverpool on two occasions sent scouts to watch the 25 years during the matches against Lyon and Stuggart.

However, Demirbay could have harmed his chances of playing for Liverpool via a recent statement he made.

According to the midfielder, he disclosed that his best area where he can perform during a match is when he gets a deep-lying role.

This means he might not be able to perform better in other roles as Liverpool already have the likes of Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson who play comfortably from the backline.

And also Liverpool might not be all that willing to sign many players in the January transfer window having spent big in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool spent more than £100 million in the last transfer window to bring in the likes of Alisson Becker, Shaqiri, Keita and Fabinho.
