European heavyweight prepare shock €60million for Arsenal’s transfer target

According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a surprise transfer to beat London club Arsenal to the move of Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema to keep summer recruit Neymar happy at the French club.

PSG want to make star happy
Don Balon suggest the French big spenders want to replace striker Edinson Cavani and will go the extra mile to appease star player Neymar Jr, who has had his problem with the Uruguayan striker this term.

While the Gunners have largely been strongly linked with Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this month, Sky Sports recently wrote about a potential problem getting the deal happen.

Benzema sure of Arsenal move
It may be that Arsenal are looking elsewhere, as Don Balon suggested this week that the Real Madrid forward was confident of getting a transfer to the Emirates.

However, the Ligue 1 giants now look to be in the running for the France international striker, rated €60million due to trouble between Brazil international forward Neymar and Cavani.

Possible nightmare for Gunners
This could eventually be a nightmare winter transfer window for the Gunners if they cannot sign either Gabon international Aubameyang or Karim Benzema when a replacement for departed Alexis Sanchez is urgently required.

The Chilean has just completed a move to rivals Manchester United and was the Gunners top goalscorer last campaign.
