Man Utd Legend Backs Liverpool In Title Race

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince has surprisingly backed Liverpool over Manchester City in the race for the title race in the Premier League.

Paul Ince talked extensively about the Premier League title race in an interview with Paddy Power as he said that everything is going the way of the Reds in their quest to end their 29-year wait for a league title.

The Manchester United legend said luck has been shining on the Merseysiders in the title to hint that this year could be theirs as they bid to win the Premier League title for the first time in their illustrious history.

He went on to roll out the fortunate incidents involving Liverpool this season including the late error from Everton shot-stopper Jordan Pickford which handed the Reds a 1-0 win over the Toffees in their Merseyside Derby at Anfield earlier this season.

Paul Ince compared the present situation involving Liverpool to his Manchester United set of 1993.

He was part of the team that helped the Red Devils end a 26-year wait for a league title during the 1992/93 season.

Paul Ince mentioned the Fergie Time win over Sheffield Wednesday as he drew a comparison with the current Liverpool team managed by German tactician Jurgen Klopp.
