Martin Keown sound strict warning to Arsenal ahead of Liverpool clash

Arsenal are closer to facing another big test in the Premier League as they welcome Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium after Sunday’s clash against Crystal Palace.

The North London side have won all of their last 11 games consecutively in all competitions with the hope of extending it further on Sunday.

Manager Unai Emery has been praised to be the brain behind the success in the team with pundits and analysts noting that the manager has been able to bring a strong mentality to the team.

His demands from the players are to dig deeper and give more in their performance is also worthy of note but Arsenal legend Martin Keown has stated that one of the advantages the Spanish man has had is his ability to win games from the bench.

According to him, the Emery team have the trait of starting very slowly and later win the game with players coming from the bench after a good study of the game.

He said this style cannot be afforded against a team like Liverpool stating that it might be too late.

The former Arsenal player therefore, praised Emery for having the ability to read games and win with players from the bench.
