Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio favours a move to three-time European champions Manchester United according to reports coming out of the Spanish media.

Don Balon claim that the Spaniard favours a move to Manchester United over other clubs if he decides to leave Real Madrid.

Spanish international Marco Asensio has been previously linked with a move to Chelsea as a possible replacement for wantaway Blues talisman Eden Hazard with recent reports suggesting that the player could be used by Real Madrid as a makeweight in a possible deal for Hazard.

Belgian international Hazard has not hidden the fact that a transfer to Real Madrid would be a dream move for him.

Marco Asensio and Real Madrid have had an average season having already been knocked out of all the competitions namely the Champions League, Spanish Copa Del Rey and the Spanish La Liga.

Several Real Madrid players including Marco Asensio has been linked with a move away from the club in the wake of the poor performances this term.

Radical changes should be expected at the club this summer with a new manager likely to take over from current boss Santiago Solari.

Marco Asensio joined Real Madrid from fellow Spanish club Real Mallorca in 2014 and the 20-cap Spanish international has scored 10 league goals in 76 appearances.

The aforementioned publication revealed that Marco Asensio will wait till summer to know Real Madrid plans for him before making a decision on his future.
