Chelsea forward says he is very close to the end of my international career
World Cup champion and Chelsea forward, Olivier Giroud will be 32 at the end of this month, and there is no soothsayer to tell us that he will have to hang his boot for his home country, France very soon whether he likes it or not.
Olivier Giroud, who lifted the 2nd world cup for his home country France in 2018 World Cup in Russia featured in all the matches during the tournament except for one.
However, the Chelsea striker didn’t score a single goal throughout the competition which is quite surprising for a striker of his nature.
Well, Giroud in the latest statement disclosed that he knows he is already close to his end in the international scene.
But he stressed that he wouldn’t retire permanently as he will always be available for his home country whenever the need arises.
Well, the international career may be coming to an end but Olivier Giroud is also uncertain about his future at Chelsea as his current contract will lapse very soon.
