Manchester United Locked In Negotiations For French Leftback

Manchester United are in talks to sign Paris Saint Germain left back Laywin Kurzawa before the transfer window shuts, Sky Sports reports.

Paris Saint Germain are prepared to offload the left-back, with reports that several clubs are pursuing the player’s signature.

The likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves have both been linked to moving for the defender, but United have also entered the race and might nick him ahead of their English rivals.

It is understood that United representatives have met with Kurzawa’s team in a bid to secure a deal before Thursday night.

Kurzawa has emerged as a summer target for most clubs, following reports that the player wants to get more first-team football elsewhere, after having a mixed season with the French giants.

Manchester United will hope to get a deal for Kurzawa after failing in their bids to sign the likes of Harry Maguire, Toby Alderweireld and Jerome Boateng during the latter days of the transfer window.

It is widely known that Jose Mourinho is more concerned about signing a central defender, but the arrival of Kurzawa might mean shuffle for the Red Devils at the back. While Luke Shaw might also continue to fight for a place in Mourinho’s plans; the left back who impressed the coaching staff at Old Trafford during the pre-season training activities.
