Manchester United Can Finally Land Their Man For £34m Today

Leicester City are ready to sell Harry Maguire to Manchester United for £33.5 million to 34 million, according to reports.

The Red Devils are on the lookout for a centre-back and have linked to several players in the transfer market, one of which is Harry Maguire.

The English defender was part of his country’s national side that got to the semifinals of the last World Cup in Russia and has been touted to become a stronghold at the back-line for Three Lions.

United boss, Jose Mourinho has told his club transfer chiefs to bring in an experienced defender before the end of summer business, but they have not been able to reach an agreement with any of their targets.

However, reports in The Times have it that Leicester City are ready to accept a bid of £33.5 million for Maguire from Manchester United, having rejected an initial offer as they held out for £75 million.

Manchester United on their part are believed to have intensified efforts to sign Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham Hotspur but are reluctant to meet Spurs asking price for the Belgian.

Leicester City are understood to have agreed to a deal to sign Caglar Soyuncu from Freiburg while a deal to sign Filip Benkovic from Dynamo Zagreb is also believed to be in the bag.
