No Longer €200M: Man United Set To Sign Star Player With €35M

Real Madrid star player Raphael Varane has been linked with Manchester United in recent times, and the latest reports about the France international are simply intriguing.

Man United signed Eric Bailly last year from Villarreal, and also convinced Victor Lindelof to come over to Old Trafford this summer from Benfica. And it appears the red devils will bring in another defender next summer.

Don Balon made it known that Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez is looking to lure Neymar from PSG, and is aware his side will need to splash very huge cash to get the Brazilian’s signature. And in such a case, he is set to sell some players currently playing at the Bernabeu to raise funds.

It was made known that Florentino is ready to sell Raphael and United will pay €35 million for his signature, instead of the massive €200M release clause in his contract.

Varane, 24, is still young and doing fine at Real Madrid. The Frenchman will definitely improve Man United’s defense should he make the move, and he will easily move along with Jose Mourinho – having worked under the Portuguese tactician back then at the Spanish capital.

Varane was superb for the La Liga club last term under the management of Zindedine, helping them win the La Liga and the Champions League trophies.
