Liverpool Transfer Update: Deal Agreed, Medical Next Week

German midfielder Emre Can won’t be playing at Anfield next season.

According to new reports, the talented midfielder has agreed a deal with Juventus and will undergo a medical next week with the Italian club.

The new deal with the Serie A champions would fetch him 4 Million in a season and it will start running at the end of this month.

Can failed to sign a new contract to extend his stay at Liverpool and he is allowed to leave Merseyside as a free man this summer.

He joined Liverpool in 2014 from Bayer Leverkusen and was able to evolve into an important player at Anfield with his impressive displays. Unfortunately, while the 24-year-old was able to play 167 games for the club in all competitions, he has failed to win a single trophy at Merseyside.

Nevertheless, Emre won’t be missed at Liverpool. Manager Jurgen Klopp has got the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Fabinho and then Naby Keita to help take care of his midfield department.

Definitely, the player will win trophies easily at Juventus. But on the other hand, he will have to compete with the likes of Sami Khedira, Stefano Sturaro, Miralem Pjanic, and Blaise Matudi for a place in the starting XI at Turin
