Forget Van Dijk – Liverpool Set To Complete Transfer Move For Star Defender!

According to reports, Liverpool have made a move to sign West Brom loan star Ahmed Hegazi, and will love bringing the Egyptian into Anfield next year.

Ahmed completed a season-long deal with West Brom ahead of the 2017/18 campaign and has been impressive at the club.

The 26-year-old has made seven appearances for the baggies since the start of the term, and his superb performances seem to have caught the attention of a host of top sides.

It is understood that the Egyptian’s form has not only caught the attention of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, but the Anfield club are expressing a strong interest in him and are taking the necessary steps.

According to ESPN FC, the reds have contacted his parent club, Al Ahl, over a potential move for the 26-year-old next summer.

The talented center back could be the solution to the current dillema at Liverpool, with manager Jurgen Klopp still searching for defensive reinforcements in his team.

The likes of Dejan Lovren, Ragnar Klavan and Joel Matip are not performing very well this season, and Liverpool have struggled vehemently at the back this term.

The reds have already conceded 18 goals in the premier league this term as they sit sixth on the table behind Tottenham Hotspur.

It was also added that Leicester City have been monitoring Hegazi’s development and will try to snatch the player from Liverpool’s grip.
