Premier League Champions Chelsea can sign Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio – if Belgian Eden Hazard is permitted to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Blues have been tipped to secure the signature of Asensio from La Liga side Real Madrid with the Spaniard currently finding it hard to make a mark.
Asensio, 21, has faded into obscurity since netting in back to back matches against La Liga side FC Barcelona in the Super Cup in August.
Premier League giant Manchester United are also keen on signing the player but the two side’s poor transfer relationship means a transfer to Old Trafford might not materialize.
And Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim the Blues can sign Marco Asensio only if Eden Hazard is allowed to leave.
It is no coincidence that the Blues’ recent revival has coincided with Eden Hazard’s return from injury.
The winger was in brilliant form last season, driving Chelsea to the English Premier League title for the second time in three seasons.
And the Belgium international playmaker has also enjoyed a good start to the current season, forming a positive partnership with Spain striker Alvaro Morata.
It is no secret that Real boss Zidane is a big fan of Hazard, with the attacker being on his wishlist for quite some time.
