Liverpool drop interest in PSG Adrien Rabiot to go after this Atletico Madrid player

The Reds in a recent statement denied any link with Paris Saint Germain, midfielder, Adrien Rabiot.

As they further added that there have not been any talks between Liverpool and PSG about bringing the 23-year-old midfielder to Anfield.

The report added that with the presence of the likes of Naby Keita and yet to start Fabinho at Liverpool, there was no need for adding another midfielder.

Well,  another recent report have disclosed that Liverpool may have shifted their focus to Atletico Madrid new signing, Gelson Martins.

According to report, Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing the Portugal international and is likely to make a move for him in the January transfer window.

Gelson Martins joined German club,  Atletico Madrid on a free transfer from Portugal club, Sporting Lisbon.

The Portugal international left Sporting Lisbon owing to an attack from hooded men during a training session at the club.

This attack had seen many of the players leave for their safety to other football clubs.

However, for Liverpool to be able to sign Gelson Martins they will have to pay the sum of £30 million.

The January transfer window will determine if Liverpool will carry on with the move.
