Klopp Provides Latest Transfer Updates Amid Naby Keita Links

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has set a new club record by completing the signing of Mohamed Salah from Roma this summer.

And amid speculations linking him with other stars including Naby Keita, the German boss states that he is pleased to stay patient in his pursuit of Liverpool signings this summer.

The Anfield club have already made two signings this summer – Chelsea’s Dominic Solanke and AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah. But Klopp is still determined to bring in new legs in the coming weeks.

Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk was also linked with the Reds, but they were forced to withdraw from the transfer race after Southampton’s complaint.

The club are now currently linked with a move for RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita and the German club are said to be demanding £70m for their prize asset.

And Jurgen is now saying he will be patient to land his targets.

Speaking to Liverpool’s official website when he was asked about the present situation in the current window, he admits it will be a difficult one especially in England. He, however, suggest that lots of works are being done behind the scenes and a lot of good things have been made so far at Anfield.

‘Sometimes you need to be patient and that’s what we are in at the moment – to wait for the right moment and then we will see what happens.’ he added.
