Valenciennes defender Anthony Goelzer has unwittingly told Arsenal boss Unai Emery that he is ready to play at the Emirates after claiming that he is already dreaming of a move to the North London.
Anthony Goelzer who plays for the Ligue 2 side is hoping to help his side gain promotion to the Ligue 1 in order to be able to prove his worth but has expressed his readiness to switch to the Emirates Stadium.
The left full-back seems to be aware of Arsenal’s need of a player in that position knowing that Nacho Monreal has been struggling with fitness and is already being linked away from the club.
Speaking with Daily Express, the 20-year-old says he has always wished to play in the English league with the North London club being his preference.
Anthony Goelzer enjoys the intensity in the English league and he is hopeful to have that experience some day as he feels he can meet up and also challenge with the rigours.
However, it is unsure if Anthony Goelzer has the needed experience that will help him fit into the Arsenal team knowing that he plays in the second division which is not in the same level with what Unai Emery needs.
