18-year-old Tom Sang has eventually extended his stay at the Theater of dreams after putting pen on paper for a new deal with Manchester United.
The youngster had a tough time to become a red devil, but things are now getting smoother after he was rewarded with a new deal – which Manchester United have themselves confirmed.
The defensive midfielder had a 12-week trial at the club’s training complex, needing to hop into trains every day to get down to Manchester for training.
Sang was provided with a fitness coach whose task is to prepare him for what it takes to become a professional player – both mentally and physically.
Despite other challenges that came in form of injuries, the talented teenager was able to overcome triumphantly – thanks also to experienced hands who treated him cautiously. Last season, he was able to play nine games in the u18 Premier League. This season so far in the Premier League 2, Sang has made six appearances for his side’s U-23 side.
Tom is expected to take the direction of Scott McTominay – a young academy graduate who transformed into a first-team player at Old Trafford.
Fortunately, manager Jose Mourinho has promised to give great youngsters opportunities to perform at the bigger stage, and everyone looks forward to Sang doing well.
