Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to offload Italian fullback, Matteo Darmian, according to reports.
The former Torino defender has become frustrated at his lack of chances under Mourinho last season, starting just 15 games in the Premier League last term.
There are reports that Mourinho is keen on adding a fullback to his squad this summer after signing Victor Lindelof to partner Eric Bailly in the central defence next season.
According to reliable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that the United boss is keen on offloading the defender this summer as part of his plans to trim his squad.
The journalist also said the Portuguese boss is determined to allow Darmian leave this summer with reports that Juventus and Inter Milan were both linked with a move for the defender.
Manchester United have been linked with several targets this summer and Jose Mourinho wants to add two more signings to the squad but will prefer to bring outfield players.
Discussing possible arrivals of signings, Mourinho said:“We are not happy with just Lukaku and Lindelof, we need more, we wanted four, so I would say 50 per cent of the job done,”
There are reports that Chris Smalling and Phil Jones might also be axed from Manchester United next season.
